Ismael Luna is a South Side community advocate and nonprofit professional running for Wisconsin State Assembly in District 8.

Ismael’s story is rooted in this community. He was homeless at 14, and today works at a shelter supporting women experiencing homelessness. Ismael has led community efforts on substance misuse prevention, housing, and public health.

Raised by a working-class immigrant family, Ismael is running to fund our schools, repair our streets, make health care and housing affordable, and protect us from ICE - all to make Milwaukee stronger.
